Cut
Cut influences how effectively a diamond handles light. Two diamonds of the same carat weight can perform very differently depending on their proportions and craftsmanship.
Colour
Small differences in colour grade can have a significant effect on price. Yet those differences are not always equally noticeable once a diamond is set and worn.
Clarity
A higher clarity grade doesn't automatically mean a more beautiful diamond. Many natural characteristics are difficult or impossible to see without magnification.
Carat
Carat measures weight — not visible size. Two 1ct diamonds can have noticeably different dimensions depending on their shape and proportions.
The most expensive diamond on paper isn't necessarily the diamond you will find most beautiful.
